Hello! Welcome to my website.
"Amaranth" is the result of a long-time (and still
ongoing!) search for ways
to express my inner world and my beliefs. The name
"Amaranth" is derived from Latin and ancient Greek and
stands for a mythological flower that never fades or dies, that is
everlasting, as is the beauty of the jewelry I make, and the
energy of the stones I use, be they precious or semi-precious gemstones, collectible minerals or rocks and crystals used as
home decor.
Growing up, I was blessed with a family who
enjoyed travelling and experiencing different worlds, learning
about and from different cultures. This happily continued after my
marriage and we are bringing our daughter up in this same spirit.
I have a deep love for, and true fascination with, the amazing
sights our Earth offers. I also believe that we are not separate
from Earth's energies and other higher energies, and that we can
tap into these energies for our personal growth and healing.
My interests and explorations involve history, architecture, painting, photography,
gardening and all things natural and handmade. I am also an
amateur collector of rocks, crystals and minerals in all shapes and forms.
I use many of them for healing, by themselves or in conjunction
with Reiki. The idea to make stone jewelry evolved naturally,
and I hold every necklace,
bracelet,
ring and
earring I make to be
completely unique, timeless, enchanting, collectible,
nurturing and healing. The world and the people around me, my
journeys in body and in spirit, my friends' and clients' own
journeys and discoveries are my inspiration. "Amaranth"
handcrafted jewelry is made with love and caring; it is a
