Chinese Painting Stone 

Another beautiful example of Chinese Dendritic Jasper, from Guangxi Province, China. Minerals crystalize in dendritic form in unique patterns with such intricate detail that the photos don't do them justice. Each side of the stone is like a slightly different painting. The color is natural and the stone has been cut, polished on both sides and coated with lacquer. It is mounted  (glued on) on a wooden display stand. Makes a wonderful viewing and conversational piece. Size: 9.0cm x 9.2cm, 137 grams.
