Also called 'Chinese Painting Jasper', this is a great example of Dendritic Jasper, from Guangxi Province, China. One of Nature's many wonders, it shows minerals crystalized in dendritic form in unique patterns that make the stone look like a painting. The color is natural and the stone has been cut, polished on both sides and coated with lacquer. It is mounted  (glued on) on a wooden display stand. Makes a wonderful viewing and conversational piece.
